Yup! The rifleman’s rifles. Know where there are a couple of lefties. Classics pre sixty four actions the.270 might be the first off the line in that production run according to the serial number. But I may just imagining it
I think the bottom one, a 1955 featherweight 308 with a receiver sight was my favorite but the 264 was a close second!
I'd give your 2nd favorite a good home I promise. She would feel loved and appreciated for the rest of my days and if I know my son the rest of his too
You gotta know that I would appreciate them. How many are in the .300 H&H for jump shooting fawns? Good stuff right there.
The Magnum 300 isn’t in that picture. Pictured there is a FW 308, standard 264, FW 270, pre-war 30 GOVT 06, pre-war 270 WCF and a 30-06 shooter with fully engraved floor plate.
years ago my boss at the time sent me to fix some thing on a house for a long time customer. had to go in the attic to fix a fan and had to go though the master bedroom to get up there. home owner was sick and in the bed, i opend the door and started hearing angels singing. was rifle racks lined up all over the bedroom and was pre64 model 70's everywhere the eyes looked. pushed my eyes back in my head and went on up to start working and had to move some model 70 boxes out of the to get to the fan, even some of those boxes had rifles in em. the man owned over 300 model 70' and most were supergrades!!!!! just had to ask him about them and that started an hour long tour of his collection. think his dad had started the collection he had spent most of his life working on it and making it bigger and better. not long ago i was wondering how his kids handled it after he was gone
Iam drooling.....A customer of mine is a pre 64 model 70 NUT. I bet he has 20 of them....he’s getting up there in age,I told him I want first dibs ,if he wanted to part with one in .270
I've had my fair share. Might be able to find a 264 & a couple of 30-06's. Sold most of them. Some of my favorites that went down the road, a bunch of 270's including my only super grade, pre-war hornet, various featherweights, 300 win mag, etc.....
