HOW TO PUT MB 550 BACK TOGETHER

Does anyone know any good videos on how to put an mb 550 back together. i got a new pin and pan for one of mine and i am at a loss on how to put it back together after i disassembled it . brand new trapper here and would appreciate any help

Have you checked on Minnesota Trapline Products website? I haven't been on their site for a long time but they used to have some videos on there about different things if I remember correctly.

Hey Jason yeah i did but i had no luck even though its probably on the website. They sent me new parts for free and am very happy with them. i just wish i could figure out how to put it back together. great company.

The guys at MTP told me to bend the end of the frame out where the dog is.I didn't do that, I just pried the spring pin over the dog, my spring pins are stock length not cut down. And I had the 3 bolts loose.

Yeah, they are not easy to put back together. Found that out a few weeks ago when I put new base pieces on two. I also forced the spring pin over the dog. First one took quite a while. Second one about 20 minutes.

Ounce ya do one or two it's much easier. Bend the frame and thank me later.

Look up a vid of mb550 jaw change from cast to rubber he did it and it looked easy but...
In the meantime I'll try to find it and put a link up I'm not good at explaining

I don't own any Mb550's... but if it goes together that difficult- it comes apart that hard also, sounds like a quality design.
