An integrated family - 09/03/20 11:28 PM

Late this spring,3 young squirrels emerged from their nest in one of my trees.A grey,a black and an albino.in the 35 years I have lived here,a couple of albimo squirrels have emerged, but they never lasted more than a couple of days.We had no black squirrels till a couple of years ago.
The 3 young squirrels all survived and are doing well. The population on my place needs to be thinned out,but I am hesitant ,for fear of getting the albino.
The last time I thinned the squirrels out,I took 67 in cages and 110s,this was off my deck and an oak tree 20 feet from the deck.
I guess for now,I will just wait and see what transpires.

Time to get out the 22 Tom, then you can be selective of what you thin out!

Yep, I agree, Tom. A .22 to the noggin can be a very effective thinning tool, and can make for a really fun Fall afternoon.

LOL,I would love to use a .22,but I would be in jail within a few minutes. Neighbor behind me is 100 feet away, she called the police on my other neighbors grand children for laughing and having a Kids good time.Deputy told the kids --they didn't do anything wrong ,and to carry on as they had been doing.
I used to use a pellet rifle at times, but that was before the bad neighbor moved in.
