I hope some bucks come my way. Nothing but does and hogs on my cameras so far.

Had 3 good bucks for our area coming in everyday and Saturday is the bow opener in NC and we got the blind all set up and been keeping plenty of corn out, these bucks were like clock work every day until Tuesday, they began to shed velvet and yesterday I saw two of the 3 almost 3 miles away. Crazy how much they change when the Velvet comes off and the acorns begin to fall

This buck along with a couple decent 8s are still around so hopefully the boys will get a chance at one this weekend [Linked Image]

I thought this might be of some interest to you guys patterning deer. Notice how the main beams drop? I've never seen anything like it on a buck before. I've seen some weird growth but never main beams dropping like that. As far as patterning goes, these two pics were taken about one month apart as you can see from the timestamp. One of the pics I captured at my place and a friend captured the other one at his place six miles away. Talk about a needle in a haystack.
