Before NFL Games - 09/14/20 04:02 PM

Before yesterday's NFL games they knelt, protested, and virtue signaled to please a Marxist organization called BLM on the same day that BLM "protesters" blocked an ER entrance for ambulances while shouting, "We hope they die" after 2 officers were ambushed and shot. More reasons not to watch the NFL.

Re: Before NFL Games - 09/15/20 01:18 AM

Some of the players had BLM on their helmets. That caused me to turn off the game. These players need to pull their heads out of their butts and recognize where else would they be making the money they are making. I am not against black people. For my money Obama started all of this. As for BLM and their conduct they are sadly mistaken that this is the path to equality.

The owners and stock holders should be held accountable for there player actions. What B.S. IMO

Re: Before NFL Games - 09/15/20 04:49 PM

Quite a few NFL players had BLM stickers on their helmets.
Some other players wanted to put stickers on their helmets memorializing the cops that were murdered in 2016. They NFL denied them the right to do that.
Where's the even playing field? Shows how the left has taken over the corrupt NFL.

Re: Before NFL Games - 09/15/20 05:42 PM

I hope the anti-American, NFL players, who support blm, all lose their jobs as the NFL tries to save itself. I hope they are all forced to get real jobs. For most, their only marketable skill set qualifies them for general labor. They will probably all end up on social assistance, the only thing that keeps over 40% of blacks and 13% of whites living, to continue to hate their benefactors.

We can't go on supporting people of any race, who can't or won't support themselves, in making more people like themselves.

I found an interesting statistic,
39% of welfare is spent on blacks which comprise 12% of the population.

See, this is the problem with our country. You all on here automatically hating the players for making a statement. The black lives matter movement has been twisted by all the “protesters” using the name to riot and loot, giving the original movement a bad name. But none of you hear that. THAT is the problem. People refuse to admit that there is bad on BOTH sides, and your beliefs are the only beliefs that are right.

The players in the NFL are not rioting. They are not burning buildings. They are peacefully making a statement, which has been misconstrued by the far right wing so badly that the intent is lost and turned to hate.

If you all would quit being so high and mighty you could see that.

Re: Before NFL Games - 09/16/20 05:04 AM

They made a statement and a lot of people dont like the statement-they see it as disrespecting the flag and country. Now how is that misconstrued.
And why do they want to put all cops out of a job so they wont be able to provide for their families just because a miniscule number of bad ones?
Your spot on, a lot of people dont think that is right.

If you don't like it go wash your traps, TV is always a waste of time and ball games are time worse wasted than game shows. They don't force you to sit like zombie watching them do stupid stuff, that is on you.

Re: Before NFL Games - 09/16/20 05:14 AM

What they are standing up for has nothing to do with putting cops out of work. They’re speaking out for racial injustice, which does still exist in a lot of ways. As for disrespecting the flag, I know many service men and women that would, and have, laid their life on the line to give them the freedom to kneel, sit, or stand for the anthem. Wether or not you agree with their cause doesn’t mitigate that freedom. That’s the whole point of freedom, to be able to protest and conduct yourself as you wish so long as you’re not infringing on another’s freedom. If it bothers you, don’t watch, and let that be that.

BLM was based on a lie. "Hands up, don't shoot." The leaders admit they are trained Marxist. Now Bob if you want to support the lie and you want the country to become a communist nation that's up to you. If that's what you support you can consider that you have an enemy in Arkansas, because I will not live peacefully under communist rule.

If you think the BLM message has been twisted, I suggest you do a little research into the "movement" .

LIKE!!
RACIAL JUSTICE is a myth. Every black guy getting shot is resisting arrest! Toxicology report always reveals high levels of dope. Oh and they're commiting a crime!!!
Go ahead and defund police. Then every crime will be the death penalty!!!

By the players actions, they are adding fuel to the fire of the "protesters". They have become instigators telling antifa and BLM that they agree with them and their actions. The correct action by the players would be their inaction or neutrality.

As you said, if you don't like it, don't watch the games. According to some news stations, about 40% viewership was done for Sunday's games. 50% down for the NBA.

Viewership is down, but not near enough imo.

Re: Before NFL Games - 09/16/20 05:35 PM

Professional sports should concentrate on expanding their viewership in China. They should even get the CCP to build huge stadiums and arenas in China like American taxpayers did for them in America. The potential audience is huge. They would have the perfect vehicle from which to shine their powerful social justice spotlight on the policies of the CCP. What could possibly go wrong?

Don't be so impatient, hippie. We have to give it a chance to implode.
