Sorry, they were one of the first ones to embrace the lunacy going on right now.

I doubt it but so what if they do. College football has been and still is one of my passions in life, I'm not about to let a few people destroy something I enjoy.

Destroy, like our country?

If they politicize it, I’m out of it completely. In fact, I hope they lose most of their viewers and make it a 3rd rate sport.

Nittany-I will be watching the Wisconsin Badgers games. One of things I truly enjoy.

jbyrd, I was watching the Big10 Network news and they did not mention anything of the sort, I think all 14 teams will be playing, It looks like they play 8 games and then have a season ending game matching up the first place teams of each division, the second place teams of each division will play each other and right down the line to the 7th place teams playing each other for a 9th game.

The Big10 made a knee jerk decision assuming all the other conferences would follow suit. When they did not, the Big10 saw scads of money circling the drain and have now reversed their virtuous position of prioritizing safety over profit. Proving money still talks.

I think it was in the original plan that's why the 8 games. Before yesterdays final vote the plan was for all teams that were on board to play each other once.. Guess they saw the money leaving and jumped on board........

Me too, but unfortunately MY teams-Kansas City Chiefs, and K-state Wildcats have decided to support the Anti-America Terrorist group black lives matter, and they can pound sand as far as I'm concerned!

42 players and staff at UW have/had Covid. I don't see this working out.

Lion, I too will proudly wear my Husker shirts. Husker football is one of my passions in life, actually most of the people of this state feel the same way. Not sure where the BLM reference comes from, the first I have ever heard it brought up. After the last 6 months events, I think our country needs college football. And yes, money is a partial driver. Ask the business owners in Lincoln how important game days are.

Yes, money is a partial driver, and just to be clear I was not implying that is a bad thing.
