Portland riots stop abruptly - 09/17/20 11:44 AM

Apparently last night the Portland riots stopped abruptly. Reportedly there is a Youtube video out that told where the rioters were camped out. Interesting to see what happens next!

Why does the City of Portland allow this? The City government should be re-called for letting this go on. JMO

Did senior management (Soros) pull the plug on it because they know it's hurting their cause? Less than fifty days until the election, right?

It was 10 PM And Soros does not pay overtime

I did read that the good people of Portland (most) have had it up to here and are moving towards stopping the insanity. No details.

Reportedly, Oregon State Police have been deputized federally, so when they pinch a perp, the local DA can't step in and interfere. Brilliant!

Yep-- i have to believe DD, our rioters/protesters out west aren't very tough - a little adverse weather (rain, heat, smoke, freezing temps) and they all stop.

Re: Portland riots stop abruptly - 09/17/20 03:52 PM

With the dropping temperatures, rioting season will be over soon

I would think the weed they smoke and the smoke from burning buildings would be just as bad. laugh But ya, I'd think winter weather would slow them down.

The air quality index has been running from 400-500 the last week up Portland way. Anything over 150 is considered unhealthy. The fine particulates in that smoke do a number on you. I have been getting pounding headaches from working outside in the stuff.

They must have heard the DOJ is looking to arrest the officials for their conduct, or lack thereof, in protecting their citiens.

I'm pretty sure AG Barr said doj was looking into the funding of these protests.

Who approved or rented the use of those lots? Who funded the privacy fence, the port a john's, and anything else to make it a campground .

I wouldn't be surprised to find out the city government was aiding and abetting, the people who are burning the place down.

Nope. Heavy dry winds knocking power lines down started the main ones that have been in the news.

I don't think we need a DOJ investigation to figure that out, but I do hope they follow through with some prosecutions.

Now that they know where these guys den up, would be only right if the Portlanders fed up with these guys paid "tent city" a visit during normal business hours when they are all at work (that would be around midnight) and burn all those tents to the ground. Payback?

A bunch of good old boys should head down there with baseball bats early in the morning when the scum is all sleeping and give them the red tarp treatment.

Or, would it be wrong to follow rioters home and burn down their properties?

I think if anyone is wondering if its wring to retaliate against these people then they need to go to their side we don't need any fence riders. You either ride with them or us.

Yeah -- I have to vote ar's maybe when I was younger I would have volunteered to adjust some attitudes. I have developed wisdom as I have aged and have realized 2 things about this situation, !. some people just need killing and 2. I no longer have the energy or the time to take all of them one at a time. I saw that camp on tuesday and wondered how all the homless got so organized and clean, but it didn't occur to me what I was actually seeing until the video posting.

Re: Portland riots stop abruptly - 09/18/20 01:48 AM

I'd like to see that camp today. Are you close, H2O? Or anybody else here on Tman? I've seen a couple places where people believe they're headed for Washington D.C. now.

Re: Portland riots stop abruptly - 09/18/20 01:57 AM

I am about 30 miles from the camp -- I might see it again on sunday ( may be going that direction)

Thanks. That would be interesting to see if they're still there or gone.
