Love SRV. Had a chance to see him the summer before he died. The other guys at the time didn't want to go. Total bummer.

There are so many great guitarists, but is anyone like SRV? Too bad that helicopter went down. SRV never hardly looked at the guitar neck as he's all over it. It's beyond incredible. I hope he's in heaven jamming with the angels.

Art - I agree that Billy Strings is an amazing prodigy.
Consider the classic Heredity versus Environment. He was taught by his loving step-father. Not all of what Billy has can be taught. It is possibly hereditary, a gift from God, or he is the right person to have been taught by his step-father.
My selection for a 3 hour drive home was the original Gold Dust Woman, Stevie Nicks.
