Mr. Paul. - 09/27/20 12:55 PM

I have two questions. First one, how many anti’s a year try to join t-man, and how is the book coming.

I don't know how many, I don't keep track.
Book is at the printers. Hope to have it in a couple weeks or less. It's being printed at Bookmasters in Ashland, OH. I was just up in that area doing a supply run but it wasn't ready.

Heck, you should have dropped in for a glass of wine and a look at my vineyard, you probably drove almost past me. Back on topic, I think it would be interesting to post what these anti's say when they have to answer the question about trapping to join up. If that is still done? I bet you get some humdingers for answers from people that have no clue about trapping.

I don't think I was that near to you Finster. I went up 77 to Canton, then west on 30. Main reason for my trip this weekend was to take my wife up to Canton to visit her mom, who is turning 95.

I have had some humdingers in the past. Cloaked threats of bodily harm to me and mine and other crazy crap.

Rooters, looters, and antis.....all the same kinda folks! I've had my share too. One clown sent me a link to a Ks anti site, called the "last nail". lol. He said, notice whos name is at the top of our hit list. I returned the favor and sent one back, bring it on stupid, I'll be waiting. Never heard from him again!

^^^^ I'm with ya Lee. Those of us in the trapping business for these past few decades have seem a steady and definite uptick of personal threats. I don't mind when they message us on our website (almost weekly) that we are ________ & ________ & F'ing ________, but I really wish they wouldn't use my wife's name in their filthy rants. I admit - I get backwards when they insult my hard working, God fearing, Mrs. I think haters hate a woman trapper more than a man trapper Lee.

At church yesterday, when Mike Huckabee was messaging about the growing hate in this nation for the 3 "C's" as he called it that built this great land: Christianity, capitalism, and Constitution... I whispered to Donna during the message.... I think all of us in this church believe in those 3 C's. She whispered back; "The demonstrators here in Dallas sure don't."
True. Sad.

I don't try to answer the nasty emailers back of course. These people are scary threatening. But I really think the internet has allowed a type of filth to spread like never before.
True. Sad.

Blessings,
Mark

Do you make it a practice of reporting it? Threatening death or bodily harm here is what you folks would term a felony offence (indictable offence) punishable by a max penalty of 10 years. Courts take threatening seriously.

Re: Mr. Paul. - 09/28/20 12:22 PM

I make it a point to wear trapping hats and t shirts as much as possible. The overwhelming majority of these nut cases are all wind, but your right Crit er dun, we should be reporting each and every one, so there is a record of it at the LEO's pipeline. If the nut cases get there way, we will have to take care of the problems anyway, and if we're are attacted, it will help our cause for LEO to know what we are up against.

Mark, you must be too close to too many nut cases if your getting that much grief! Most of that crap comes from the university's. Gives the weirdos a base, because so many of them hang out in those places. And yes, the internet has caused a lot of the promlems that we have nowdays. We could always hope for an EMP.....been nice talking to yallz! grin Not being antisocial, but I could pray for one of those! See ya this weekend!

I use to do that. The FBI had a case opened on one threat they deemed credible, but nothing ever came of it, so I figured, what's the use?

We don't report it either. Just delete and move on.
I wasn't sure the one we would report it to would even care.... us being mean 'ol trappers and all.

Yes sir, I surely did. I'm hoping those leaves hold off until convention time. They had Burkes Garden up in Tazewell county on the TV this morning, and the leaves there looked like they were getting close to peak colors. Bandy is probably enjoying some good color.
