Fries dipped in a Wendy's frosty.

I like Red Robins campfire sauce, which is basically mayo and bbq sauce.

My favorite is Heinz ketchup and red hot mixed together.

Re: French fries with - 09/27/20 03:19 PM

I like Heinz ketchup, but if I make my own fries from my potatoes and I cook them in duck fat they only get salt.

Sometimes a plate of home made fries with a couple over easy eggs on top makes a great dinner.

Now I'm hungry.

Fried taters in duck fat is amazing. I've also had it subbed for butter over popcorn.

Ketchup here. And McD has the best fries in the world hands down.
Ranch is a big deal here for fries. Not my language though.
Heinz is good, but then you're supporting John Kerrey. I don't buy it.

Just ketchup is most common in my house. When we want to get a little fancy we will make gravy and shred some cheese for it.

I like Mustard on fries. Not a fan of ketchup. Turns my stomach when the wife puts it on eggs.

I work for the largest producer of French fries in the world. Real fries from real spuds. We produce fries for McDonald's (fries and hash browns), Arby's (curly fries), Dunkin' (tots), Kroger, etc.. I don't know if BK went elsewhere as I haven't seen their fries come through in a long time. Our plant produces two to four million pounds of fries per day. We have another plant just across the border in Canada that produces about the same quantity. We have other plants across the country in potato producing regions. If you're eating a fry on the east coast, the odds are it came from our plant.

beef tallow was the cheep cooking oil for deep fried food . we bought our last in the mid eighties . there are studies in mice that show if you feed them beef tallow they loose weight , and if you feed them vegitable oils they gain weight very quickly . The transition to vegitable oil from animal fats coi coincides perfectly with america becoming obese

Franks hot sauce and a bit of ketchup OR just some gravy.Properly done fries should be wacked pretty good with salt from a sea-salt grinder while there is still some oil on them and shouldn't need further salting. grin
