I need help with a .45 reload!

Winchester 231 handgun ball powder.
My old book doesnt cover this bullet. Does anyone have data for it?

Hodgdon says 6.5 grains but it's for a 45 Colt not 45 ACP

What Cartridge?

That is designed as a muzzle loader bullet (ML designation)

You would need to have a suitable bore diameter to use it in a cartridge firearm

.45 ACP casing

If it will feed you can probably use them. But I can envision a number of problems.

Thank you. Problems I do not need. I'll see if I can return them for loaded ammo. Another gunshop has FMJ boolits for .61 cents per piece. I think not!

I agree , you will not get the velocity needed to make that expand from a 45acp also very likely to have feed issues

the .452 would be find for 45acp , but the bullet is near as long as the case

it is meant to go in a sabot and come out of a ML at 1600-1800fps

everyone has something they bought thinking they had the right thing

the good news is they are not loaded ammo so if they don't want them back at the store , no worries on shipping them put them in the trap shed or other for sale place
