Soups On !!

A Bus Load of ...Sausage & Lentil Soup on a slow roll....smells good in here,on a cool day ! What’s on yah Stove ?

Looks wonderful, Nessy ....I was really just thinking about lentils in various dishes yesterday. They are full of good nutrients and combined with meat, make excellent slow burn energy proteins. Not the same as regular beans at all. Been a long time but someday I'll fix some again .

Good for you. Lentils with carrots and sausage is a winter regular for me.

Chicken caccitore with a big salad

I removed 2 cups of the soup...and puréed it....then threw it back into the pot...to thicken it up. That worked slick !

And a little Paahm cheese on top !....yum

Just reheating a load of leftover stuffed peppers made from all of Zim's good garden stuff. The red and green bell peppers, onions, garlic, tomatoes and thyme are all from his garden. I'll see if I can get a photo when they come out of the oven.

Got a pot full of @100 chicken feet simmering with celery onions and garlic. Probably let it simmer overnight and strain it tomorrow. Stock for soup or making gravy.

Wife made her sausage soup today. But instead of lentils she uses quinoa.

Just finished putting together chili verde. One por with cubed pork and roasted a whole porke but for a more traditional style.

Roasted all the peppers, onions, And tomatilloa.

Smells good

My step dad asked for some and i have extra for my deer hunt.
