I need to replace this cap .
It has an ear broken off.
I've tried a few Box store searches , no luck.
What is it called and where can i buy one ?
Thx for any help.

I would think you would call that a cleanout plug or cap.
Looks different from most I've seen however. Is it threaded all the way ? Or maybe a special 1/4 turn type ?

If you can get some good pictures of it and pictures of the wye it fits into , go to a professional plumbing supply house where the plumbers buy their stuff. Someone there can probably recognize it or offer an alternative that will fit.

Just get a plug that has a rubber enter liner and expands when you turn the wing handle on the outside. Do not go to the big box stores. Go to a Ace hardware store or a mom and pop store. They will know what you need, take the picture with you.

I wouldn't trust one of those long term to hold back what I think is on the other side !!!
