Best time to buy guns?

Best time to buy guns? - 10/24/20 05:00 AM
Before or after the election?
I'm thinking before. And heck, I've already got $50 bet with Nessmuck on Trump's defeat.
Besides, any excuse to buy a gun--right?

Never a bad time to buy a gun.
As radically liberal as you are, I am surprised you are pro gun

Of all the places I've ever visited on this earth, this forum is the only place I've ever been called "radically liberal."
I'm liberal on some issues. But I believe in the right to keep and bear arms, and that most gun laws are wrong-headed and unconstitutional.
So...do you believe this is a good time to buy a new gun?

If Biden wins, yes. If Trump wins, it doesn’t matter.

If Trump wins, after-once they all come back and people arent freaking out. If Biden wins, you shouldve bought right now at the latest, if you can find what you want.

If Biden wins, internet gun sales could be banned.
I've bought and sold various guns on the internet.
I think Biden's going to win.
Therefore, now is a good time to buy.

If Biden wins, this country deserves the Great Depression, Venezuela, Africa, Korea, China, and Phillipines all rolled into one just for voting for him. It will begin in the cities.

Any time you have discretionary income to spend is a good time to purchase a gun.
The way it is right now the prices have only one direction to go.
Before or after the election?
I'm thinking before. And heck, I've already got $50 bet with Nessmuck on Trump's defeat.

best time to buy guns , any day no one is running for president year 1-2 of a presidency preferably a Republican pres
basically any time no one else is inspired to go buy a gun
stock them deep while the guns , ammo and parts are cheap.
for when you need a gun the time to buy was yesterday
there is never a bad day to be buying more guns , just more expensive days
I will never understand why you choose to flog one hand to make it as useless as the other. It seems the weak hand is better served by a strong hand than 2 half useless holders of digits..

Why are you buying guns when you would so easily just give them up?

technically it is a horrible time to buy a new gun!
inventory at record lows , section stinks , prices the highest they have been , ammo almost unavailable in many calibers
panic buying , empty shelves
however , like buying the worst toilet paper in March , it still beats a dirty butt.

If Biden wins wait a year. The pawn shops will be full of guns after the economy tanks.

I don't see that the demand or the price has changed much for quality hunting rifles. Handguns, ARs, and other personal defense arms seem to be where the price inflation has been, not blued steel and nicely figured wood. Maybe others are seeing something different. If my observation is accurate, I don't think it makes much difference when you buy in regard to the election. That's based on the assumption that James is in the market for another nice hunting rifle.

Now, either way. If Biden wins, there"ll be a mad rush to buy whatever you can, and stuff will be expensive and hard to find. If Trump wins, there's gonna be mass riots and such, and stuff will be expensive and hard to find, plus it'll be too late by then.

Re: Best time to buy guns? - 10/24/20 12:29 PM
when the public saw the NON-reaction of big city governments to the widespread rioting/looting; people who had never seriously thought about buying a gun began doing just that. (I know two of them, personally).
the escalated civil unrest that is likely coming if Trump wins reelection will do nothing to alleviate that angst among the general population.
If Biden wins, Dems will tell their minions to stand down; and things will once again (after SCOTUS is suitably "packed") return to normalcy. "Normal" being Democrats in charge, getting THEIR way...
petulant children in charge, demonstrably willing to use and encourage violence in support of their radical agenda.

Right now everyone is panic buying guns.
You already know what you are looking for; and need to unload one in order to buy the next.
So:
Now is a great time to sell gun B and start looking for ideal gun A.
I'm pretty sure the few bucks difference between "'good time/bad time" ain't no deal breaker, in your case.

When Trump wins I expect the left to come at us full bore spilling their riotous violent acts into the countryside. If you have several guns right now you may want to wait a bit. They may become readily available to be picked up off the ground. MERICA!

Hard to say on the best time.
I have bought them anywhere from 8AM when the shop opened to 10PM in a tavern.

Re: Best time to buy guns? - 10/24/20 01:04 PM
I buy them when the mood strikes and the bank account looks good. I've been known to walk in looking to buy ammo and come out holding a new gun. Impulse gets the best of me sometimes.
Any time from last march to 6 months after Trump won and the Trump slump hit. Now is the time to double or triple your money on an that stuff gun, ammo., and mags you bought then
It's not like this isn't a comon pattern. Well look who is asking nevermind.. s
Some folks cant see patterns or other cause and effect things right in front of them. Looks boring for open socialist agendas.

If you ignore the political landscape; typically the best time to buy guns is the month of January.
Hunting season is over, and Christmas bills are coming in. That, according to a few gun dealers I've spoken with.

I think it's a really good time to sell guns, that you no longer need or want. Hopefully, these new liberal gun buyers, will not use them on themselves when Trump wins. The great American people have seen what the democrats have been doing to destroy this great country and brainwashing our youth.

The more logical line of thought, James, would be now is the time to vote for Trump. You have bought and sold guns on the net yet you will vote for the candidate who might ban internet sales? Hard to see the logic in that.

If you don’t have what you need before now you’re way behind the eight ball.
And if you’re buying guns and ammo now you have more money than brains.
