No matter how many times I tell this to my dad he cannot figure it out.

We teach "defensive driving" in the U.S, we should be teaching cooperative driving, let people pass, let people merge, use your head a bit and realize your not the only one on the road.

I had one guy tell me that if he was driving the speed limit why should he get over?

I have some relation that was following a nice looking car at about 50 mph and the guy wouldn't move over so he just ran up and give him a gentle tap and just like that he moved over, lol.

Something to think about , let them by. They will flush out radar traps and get ticketed. Use them as a point man , let them take the fall.

Common courtesy is a lost virtue.

Here's my experience; i am in left lane going 7 over speed limit, if i move over to right lane, the person who is going to pass me speeds up till they are beside me and then slow down til they are going .5 mph faster than me(taking there sweet time passing me) then i have to get off my cruise control because the vehicle in the righ lane in front of me is going slower.
Now on the flip side, if i stay in the left lane, the ones who want to pass get miffed and pass me on the right going really fast!
I've proved this at least ten times to people riding with me.

Left laners will eventually suffer a head on collision on any two lane highway

I would also add that all left lane campers must be Democrats

Another reason that I dislike the city. It drives me nuts.

There are two kinds of idiots that drive on multi lane hi-ways-those that drive slower than the lane traffic and those that drive faster than the lane traffic.
I will drive around the slow idiots that wont move to the correct lane,but wont move to a slower lane to let the fast drivers past me if I am keeping up with with traffic in the lane I am in.

I would like to see more drivers figure out that mysterious stick on the left side of a steering column called a turn signal lever.

Hold the door open for the person behind you.

Some folks, no matter the speed, have to catch the car in front of them. It’s subconscious, I’ve seen it.

If a car driving in the left lane won't move over, this is what I do if there isn't a whole lot of traffic. I will pass them in the right hand lane and then immediately pull back into the left lane. Then I slow down and gradually go slower and slower. Usually, but not always, they will move into the right lane to pass me and once they do this I speed back up to the speed I was originally going.

interstate roads were built to move the military and progress the increase of interstate commerce, not allow paw, maw and the rugrats clan to ride on a paves road to get to the rest of the inbred hillbilly clan reunion
