Hope I never get that hungry.
All the stuff nature has for you to eat, and you eat that.
That's right, your Canadian so you all don't know any better

Jarassic, down here we do something similar. It’s called a “Haystack”. Fries, ground seasoned beef, with some Queso dip poured all over it and some chopped jalapeños dribbled on top. Dang good stuff

I'm an Illinois guy..... I do like a good poutine every once in a while. I was introduced to it in Ontario. We had a work trip up there, we had to travel from Sudbury to North Bay.... anyway there is a little town on the North side of huge lake on that particular route that is known for the poutine.. we made our travel work so we could eat poutine and pogos there.
Needless to say..... it was awesome!!

Re: Poutine for Supper Baby! - 10/25/20 01:54 PM

I prefer to make it with waffle fries. They act more as a paddle to bring the good ess to my mouth.

I only found out about poutine about 10 years ago. Surprised Wisconsin didn't come up with it first.

Lol, waffle fries would work too! I prefer my poutine with shredded cheese, but my wife did the shopping and she prefers the cheese curds. So curds it was! Lol

Couldn’t you fit more gravy onto that pile? Gravy make everything slide down the hatch better. I have tried the stuff and I just doesn’t do anything for me.
Maybe it tastes better with fresh Canadian ingredients?
