Cardinal Vigano's letter to Pres. Trump

Cardinal Vigano's letter to Pres. Trump - 11/01/20 03:10 AM

From nyhuntfish. He placed it in another thread, but this is good.

We are only America. There is a global world out there and we are part of all of it.
I'm not Roman Catholic but only doctrine separate the Protestants from the 16th century brethren.
Same core beliefs in both.

Fantastic RC church leadership and I bet there are those within the Vatican will not care for this letter from a cardinal to our President.

Some of us know our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against the world forces of darkness, against the spiritual forces in the heavenly places.

Put on the armor.

Couldn't have said it better... His belief are pretty much 100% of of what I believe. It is time for people to wake up. A war of one kind or another is inevitable.

It is more real than we can imagine.
St. Pierre's Cathedral, in Geneva, Switzerland, a church in service since the 4th century, where John Calvin preached every day for 26 consecutive years, is closed for the first time for an extended time until sometime in 2021.

1700 years of service through all manner of world history happening....
And Covid-19 closed it down.
Consider that scenario for a moment.

He isn't alone in his thinking Mark. There are a few prominent RC saying the same thing quite publicly the last few weeks. My theology is more in line with John Mcarthur, but I certainly cant argue with anything these RC are saying.

This has to be a spoof.

"The purpose of the Great Reset is the imposition of a health dictatorship aiming at the imposition of liberticidal measures, hidden behind tempting promises of ensuring a universal income and cancelling individual debt. The price of these concessions from the International Monetary Fund will be the renunciation of private property and adherence to a program of vaccination against Covid-19 and Covid-21 promoted by Bill Gates with the collaboration of the main pharmaceutical groups. Beyond the enormous economic interests that motivate the promoters of the Great Reset, the imposition of the vaccination will be accompanied by the requirement of a health passport and a digital ID, with the consequent contact tracing of the population of the entire world. Those who do not accept these measures will be confined in detention camps or placed under house arrest, and all their assets will be confiscated."

"Fake News" Jim? Is that an objective or subjective call? Because you disagree with it or do you have some opposing evidence?
There's nothing in that paragraph that hasn't been discussed, mostly on the record, in world forums.

We've been congregating via Zoom twice a week. It's actually quite nice. We still get dressed but I haven't put on dress shoes since March. I highly value the sanctity of life. We've had a few congregants get covid. It was tough on them. I can only imagine what would've happened if we were all still meeting in person.

James,
This is your weakest post this season counselor. Cardinal Vigano is well published from his vantage of having been in RC positioning as vicar to see much. He has written other letters denouncing the debauchery within the RC church and has been rebuked by some in his faith. He doesn't seem to care what man thinks. He seems, as I read more of his publishings to care about God, and not the evil of man.

Satan is called the great deceiver for a reason.
Cardinal Vicar's letter goes against his church boss, and he writes (as we would hope) as one in the succession of Apostles.
C. Vigano doesn't stand with his father (small f), but rather the One with the capital F.
It seems he takes his earthly job seriously.
If you took your job seriously and saw evil amongst your mission, would you write a letter to the most powerful man on earth James? You're the attorney. Ever write a letter? If it's pretty important, did you seal it with a stamp and mail it? I bet this letter went priority.

We need many more C. Viagno's.
He's just preforming his calling as he should according to Holy Scripture and positioning as an Apostolic Successor.
God Bless him.

Blessings,
Mark

I was not aware you could openly call the Pope a tool of Satan as a Cardinal, Interesting. This current Pope does not represent the true church, and some Catholics are aware, while others try to defend his crazy statements.

Re: Cardinal Vigano's letter to Pres. Trump - 11/01/20 01:19 PM

The road we are on is becoming clearer everyday if one steps back and looks at the bigger picture. Bigger and more controlling governments, popularity of socialism, less individual freedoms unless its moral issues such as abortion, and drugs. More entitlements along with greater corruption. Less importance on truth and more on feelings. To me the road we are on is clear even if the destination may not be in sight to some. I fear most find it easier to chose the path of least resistance (therefore ignoring were it leads) instead of chosing what is right. Some don't want to see the destination at the end of the road because the other route look difficult.

Revelation 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads.(17) And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast or the number of the name.

Is Covid19 (china virus) vaccine the reason to be given the mark?

Rusty,

"Churches" should stay out of politics unless they want more politics in churches business. Individual people have every right to speak but not FOR the church...imo

Re: Cardinal Vigano's letter to Pres. Trump - 11/01/20 07:44 PM

So the church and their leadership shouldn't speak as one voice against the aborting of babies?
Should be "no comment?"
Abortion was taken from the moral arena into the political arena decades ago.
Should the church as a voice venture there as well?

Mark. Most people that I talk with. When I mention God in the equation with Trump. There eyes open wide with big smiles. They tell me they feel as the hand of God is guiding our president thru this. Faith is a wonderful thing. I pity those that are godless. So lost. I pray that they find peace in the lord.

Went to mass this morning with my uncle and aunt who are east of here about 30 minutes.
Afterwards we had some breakfast together also.
My uncle is the same age as President Trump and believes there's a divine hand involved with this also.
First, my uncle said, there's no possible way a man "our" age could do all he does. No way. Trump has "help" big time.

Maybe so.
Huuuuge help.

You're something James.
You make me laugh counselor!
You remind me of my dad who's a retired bankruptcy attorney.
Dad turned 86 two days ago.
My dad, God love him, is trained in the theory (or art?) of jurisprudence to the "N" degree. Sat on the admittance board of a law school.
Dad starts almost every sentence with, "well you know...."
I mean almost every sentence.
Doesn't even realize he does it.
Trained I tell ya.
Trained.

You kinda remind me of Raymond June wink
Not a bad thing.
"well you know..."
You might have just had a lot of trained.
Trained I tell ya.

President Trump basically has meetings with foreign prime ministers, dignitaries and other important people, while playing golf. It is part of building good relations with foreign countries. Look at how many times President Trump has played golf with the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe. Millions of business deals have been made on the golf course in the US and millions of more deals will be made on golf courses.

James forget golf, how about war? I never took you for a hawk. If you haven't noticed the blood being spilled in the sand is not nearly at the level that was spilled in current administrations. In fact, peace seems to be the order of things going on over there nowadays. Of course, being the good leftist you are, that peace is with Israel and cannot be recognized much less celebrated.
