Some of y'all sound crazy. He makes movies and is a democrat, so what? And is anyone really shocked? He's not Virgil Earp, a really cool bouncer at a bar or a biker living with Cher and her messed up kid. He is an actor.

After you're finished burning your Sam Elliot VHS tapes, take deep breath and ask yourself is it really worth missing out on a really good movie because an actor has a different political opinion? If so, you should stopping all movies and television because THEY are everywhere--even working at Fox news.

Not a surprise. He's never taken many hard core conservative positions outside of his movies. An interesting side note for those here at T-man, Sam's dad was a government trapper and supervisor in California many years ago. As a kid, Sam spent time around many old school outdoorsmen.
