I'm on the board! I was called for a couple of nuisance beaver jobs last week and I got out this weekend to put some traps out. I got a few quick beaver sets out Friday afternoon that didn't connect, but really got my better sets put in on Saturday morning. Sunday, I collected three beaver and a raccoon which was nosing around a beaver lodge.
This is only the second time in my life I have connected on three beaver in one day (although I did it with fewer sets the first time). Plus, I caught one beaver in a 280 body grip, one in a foothold, and one in a snare. So, I covered the trifecta of different trap styles in one day.
There should be more where those came from.
I think I'll wait another couple of weeks before I start putting the coyote traps out.
