Tom Krause Friends ....UP DATE..... - 11/18/20 11:15 PM

Was emailing Tom about a mutual friend I ran into and he told me he and his wife are in the hospital with C-19. No real details but they could probably use any thoughts and prayers we can spare.

He said the mutual friend story made their day so that was good.

UP DATE

I sent Tom a link to this thread and got this response:

"Oh wow, that is so nice of you to post. Just have my phone so cannot post as I do not recall my code, please pass we are grateful for any prayers. Our faith serves us well. Gayle will recover completely, I have 50% reduced kidney function now but heart & lungs not effected so looks like rest this winter & back at it next. Again we appreciate kind thoughts & prayers more than I can say, lots of good people dying, these are hard days for everyone! "

Yes they are! Will keep them in my prayers. Wish I had they're address yet, but don't think I do. If anyone does, please drop me a PM!

Great people. I gave Tom a call when I was in Riverton WY on a family vacation in 2005. We had never met, just told him I was a PA trapper taking my family out west...I invited me over to his house, met his wife, and we shot the breeze for a couple hours. Prayers sent.

Thanks Lee,
Spent a week with Tom on his Marten line almost 30 years ago. Fond memories. Still e-mail a few times a year.
He has inspired me in several different things. Trapping, snaring, fur put up, photography, humor, probably more.
Be good to hear when they both get home.

Prayers for our good friend.
Tom came down with the H1N1 when we had him to the Academy in Kansas a couple years back and we got him to the local hospital in that instance.

He is plain and simply one of the best in this biz! Period.

Prayers sent for them to recover quickly, one of the trappers that got me hooked as a kid in the 80s. Back when you got a mail order catalog to thumb through until the pages wore thin.
