My 8 year old got his first buck - 11/19/20 03:50 AM
This morning my 8 year old shot a basket racked 6 point for his first buck. He is ecstatic and I'm proud of him. It's to bad he didn't get on the nice 8 that came through 30 min earlier or the 140" that didnt spot for him. But none the less another mile stone down. That makes for his 6th deer.
My 10 year old has started letting them walk this year. 4 so far 2 bucks this morning a 6 and 8 and twice on single does. I'm conflicted . On one hand I'm glad he's over wanting to kill everything that walks in front of him
On the other I don't want an antler size crazy kid. He let the does walk becuse enough have been shot off the farm and the bucks because they were to small.
I'm ok with that esp from one so young.
