It seems I have to click my mouse multiple times to get it to respond, what could be the problem?

If its a cordless mouse, it is probably the battery.

It is a cordless mouse, I would say the mouse might be about 5 years old.

Battery, mechanical (wear &tear) damage to the mouse, click speed settings are the order I would proceed. I would suspect the first two though the last is easy to check.

I wear two hearing aids, but yes, I think I hear something when I click.

Put this in right after the mouse question.
My cruise in a 1911 GMC only works part time. Like it has a mind of it own. Why?

Most likely the battery or something wrong with the transmitter or receiver.
