where to sell guns?

I have .350 Legend AR I'd like to sell but I really do not want to ship it or pay fees. How a where do you advertise? So many social media places won't allow gun sales. Is there a craigslist for guns?

Most gun stores will sell it for you on consignment. I think the one I used to use charged 10%

That's not a bad idea, but I hate to lose 10%, I guess I could raise the asking price to cover it.

when I sold one on consignment I new what I had in the gun , that I wanted out of it and set the price exactly the 10% higher to cover the difference. it works

Buying and selling guns is getting harder by the day. I struggle finding affordable places that don’t charge an arm and a leg. Handguns are horrible now and must be shipped overnight so $75 to ship a 22 pistol.

Do any of the radio stations around you have a call-in Buy and Sell show? Over here there is one on Saturday mornings. Firearms are usually allowed to be sold on those and you might be surprised in the size of the market you are reaching. My experience with those shows has been very good.

I see lots of guns on Craigslist. It goes like this. Saw for sale: .223 model. Remington brand. Email for more info. Then a picture with a saw and gun in same photo. Seems to work for them.

10% is cheap. wouldn't worry about that. Check your gun laws first but i've seen them at flea markets

Can't think it would be hard to sell a gun local by just word of mouth or a couple adds on a bulletin board..

In Iowa the Exchange printed in Winterset covers all of southern Iowa north Mo. western Iowa and north of Des Miones

Radio. Every morning our local station does a swap shop hour for the community. People call in to advertise there things and guns are offered for sale on there from time to time. Not sure if your area does anything like that though.

Lots of those here too, to get past the censor bots. BUT if you have antis in your community, they might flag your ad manually anyway.

Bulletin boards and local classifieds. Our local radio station runs an online classifieds, and there is also a statewide one called alaskaslist. I'm sure there must be something similar for you.
