Oh it’s quiet alright. Tomorrow night will be busier. They anticipate a line by 4 am and are opening by 5

Did you get your dressing done up ahead of time? That's what I do, just refrigerate over night. Good luck, nice looking bird.

I'm up,but not to put the turkey in. Just doing a couple breasts this year ,should only take a couple hours.
For some reason i have not adjusted to the time change this year. I've been waking up around 3, since we changed the clocks.
I look at it as being an extra hour , where no one is bothering me. Quite peaceful really.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope you all have a Blessed day.

I'm up. Spent 8 hrs on the logsplitter in 2 days and my shoulders are so sore I've woke up at 2:30 the last two nights. Once I'm awake it's over. Might as well make coffee.

I know this all too well the past six months. When you wake up hurting, you’re up.

Thanks.
My daughters have taken over feast preparation's in my family. I am just a dont sleep much type. I did put a pot of coffee on. I think my wife enjoys sleeping in rather than getting up to fix my breakfast. If I am working she goes back to bed after she feeds me.

That would be nice but it’s a ways away for us. The company I drive for gives out fresh turkeys so we told everybody we would bring the turkey. We are feasting with 27 today, hopefully the neighbors don’t call the police.

Turkey takes 3 to 4 hours in an Electric roaster.
You could sleep in until 8 if you used one

I put mine in the roaster last night, let it swim in turkey stock over night at 350 until it falls apart, I'm up now so I can shred it man I can't wait!
Been a busy morning. Got up and put the turkey in. Wife needed a little TLC to get back to sleep. I went to the deer stand afterwards until the rain washed me out. Checking traps and got a text she needs eggs. Just left the store now headed back home. lol
