I've had a blessed season.

One more goal: Gonna try and arrow a doe from the ground b4 season ends. Have never arrowed a deer from ground of the dozens I've killed with a bow.

Been outta shoulder mount room for a while now. Gonna run outta skull mount room soon.

Yessir!

Family has plenty of venison now. Gonna cube and seal this last one and donate it to a local struggling family.

You're a good man Charlie Brown!

I haven't deer hunted deer in over 35 years, but I'm thinking about going out to get one for a family nearby who could really use it.

Man, you had a great year! What would those Georgia bucks dress out at? Reason I ask is that lots of folks say those "Southern" deer are supposed to be tiny, and based on what I have seen, they are about the size of the Northern Michigan bucks.

Top left buck weighed 155 live wt. Bottom left weighed 163 live wt. Bottom right buck weighed 115 live wt. Doe weighed 110 live wt. Top right buck is from north Missouri and bottomed out 200 scales.

I've learned that you can subtract 16% of the live wt and be within a few pounds of actual field dressed wt. This average comes from data of hundreds of deer over the years...in my career work and personal hunting.

Good Job, lots of good eating for sure.

My 2020 season so far is good. Not done yet. But then again, we southerners are blessed with something to catch or kill year round. Sarge
