Re: Spoiled dog thread - 12/11/20 02:57 AM

LOL,think about if that was a 100 pound Lab.His entire body wouldn't fit in my lap,so he would get as much of himself into my lap, keeping his hind legs on the floor and go to sleep.
That would last until some of my body parts became numb.
Day after Chtistmas will be one year since we lost Phoenix-- he was such a great friend and protector.

Murphy sleeps under the covers with me every night. Usually after an hour or so he gets up and lays somewhere else, but he always starts out tucked in.

Lost her in Feb of 2019. Still miss my shadow. Followed me every step. When I would go anywhere I would just say Truck or car and she would stand beside it until I opened the door and put her in. Had a bed in every room so she could lay down as she followed me. Passed at 14 years old. Blessed for a bassett hound !!!

Reminds me of our Bassett she was 14 when she passed away. She slept with us and I made her eggs and bacon with toast on the weekends. I still wake up and feel around for her sometimes. Really miss her still.

Could be the twin to a neighbour's dog, tries to kill every other dog in the neighbourhood. Nobody can walk their pets on that part of the road anymore.

He got 2 pillows and a blanket on the floor

[Linked Image]

Check out every bag when you'd come home from grocery shopping.

[Linked Image]

Waiting in his seat at the table for his cookie that he knew he'd eventually get.
[Linked Image]

If there was any doubt it was his seat. He'd bug you until you pulled it out. Heaven forbid someone sat in it. He'd sigh loudly then lie sown. Then lay there and snuffle making all sorts of racket. If you got up he's jump right up in it and refuse to move.

These threads are the best. No matter our political, moral or ethical leanings, everyone pulls together, relates and enjoys these type threads. Kinda like trapping.

She's is great with other dogs very happy and playful. Just don't like other 4 legged critters she protects our 125 fowl very effectively. But you could show up with your dog that she's never met and just wants to play awesome with infants all the way to adults. I should also say I can call her off anything she goes after.
