Screech owl

Last week I put up a photo of a drawing the a friend here paintedof and elk in the snow. I asked if he has done anyother painting recently and he sent me this. I like these little guys you can call them in and they are curios about what you are doing......jk

Nice painting. Screech owls are cool little birds. A bit unnerving the first time you hear one though.

Yeah....At dusk usually in the big bad woods!

I have even had them follow me around at nite after calling them in. Usually have one around my house. They must have some weird feeding habit as I have trail camera phots of them walking down rocky creeks and accidentally caught one in a mink trap.......jk

Their whinny is an interesting sound.
