Which charities do you donate to?

The ones I donate to is St. Jude’s Hospital, Salvation Army and American Cancer Society (my wife and parents died from cancer and I have been fighting it for years).

Salvation Army bell ringers. Times are hard for them in an increasingly cashless society.

Well last weekend i was at a gas station getting gas and a church group was giving out food bags to the needy, I go pay for my gas and came out and started pumping, when two lady s come over to me with a bag and explain that their church was giving to the needy . I told them i would prefer the give it to someone that really needed it more than me . They understood where i was comming from . But before they left i made a donation to the church . They were very happy . I think that was the best i could do for the holiday spirit .

All kidding aside St. Jude and Riley childrens hospital are
A given. After that any cause I feel called to help at any given time from those broke down to needy on the street.

Salvation Army, Shooting USA and people I think truly need it. I find it easier to give something away then to sell it cheap. Messed up but true.

Uganda counseling and support services (they are a group that goes and digs wells, provides medical treatment all while telling people about the Lord)

I give to local people or families that have needs. I try to give enough to make a meaningful difference. I don't attend a in a building church, so no "church" to tithe to, no salaries or building to maintain. So I have an account "storehouse" set aside to meet needs.

Thank you to those who donate to R McD House. We received their care when our eldest son was in the Mayo Clinic and Denver Children's Hospital. Sadly, he didn't make it, but R McD House was there for us and was a tremendous help in our darkest hour. I'd never heard of them before that.

Kind of off topic - but I see many of you donate to St Jude's - If you aren't familiar with how St Jude's was started it's an interesting story and well worth looking into - especially this time of the year.
