What is going to happen to Space Force

once the new administration takes hold? My guess it will be abandoned or the funding will be reduced.

I doubt they will want to keep anything this administration started.

It's a government bureaucracy. It will become top heavy with administrators and totally useless but it will have eternal life.

Space Force will resume in 2024 when Trump will be re-elected!

The current Trump appointees will be incarcerated along with their extended families and dog. Then restructured under the Harris administration into the third largest federal agency with the mission to send Vice President Biden to Mars.

I think NASA and space exploration is a good thing (versus most of the crap we waste money on in this country). However, did Space Force ever actually come together and do anything? I know there was a press conference and it has a website, but it seemed like yet another publicity stunt.

China most definitely doesn't want us to have a Space Force, so if the democrats steal their way in, it will be scrapped, because China owns the democrat leadership.

Seems so, a young fella (computer nerd type) that came into the butcher shop with a deer said he was moving to Colorado to be closer to his work. I asked what he did for work and he said Space Force. Didn't get into it to much, but sounded like he sits at a computer all day.

Space Force will continue. Several bases have already rolled into the Space Force including Peterson AFB. Its not martians folks but things like cyber warfare etc........along with Buckley, Vandenberg, Shreiver etc...

The name seems odd but if any war started and the enemy was able to knock out your satellites you would at a major disadvantage. You want to be the country that controls that.

I think I read somewhere that if Biden does become President, he wants to appoint Hunter as Star Fleet Commander, because of all the experience he would bring to the program.

We do have a way to get to satellites. We are able to launch people to and from the International Space Station.
