Am I stupid or what? Or senile

Don’t answer the first question because I know the answer. Looked for my glasses for 5 minutes today until I realized I was wearing them. Old age is a b for bummer.

I was hoping a few others would pose this question.

I've been getting parts in the mail and then the next day I can't find it. Other stuff I've had to make list and check them off, such as bill paying. If I was totally crazy and didn't know that I was failing I don't think it would be so bad. I guess when I no longer can function, I will be someone elses problem, lol.

No. I am in the same boat.

More than once I've torn my truck apart looking for my phone - while I'm talking on it.

I did the same with my phone the other day. I had my wife call it and I would think I could here it right in front of me and I would look and look and not see it. Then I would move over because I thought the sound was a little further away and still I could not see it. I went all around the kitchen looking for that thing before I realized it was in the coat pocket I was wearing.

I won't say what I did, but asked myself the same question today.

I'll sometimes have 2 sets of readers on my head and ask my wife if she's seen my readers.

Thanks for the tip. I just found my glasses!

I have a habit of putting my glasses in my shirt pocket at times. Quite often I look for them and then realize they are in my shirt pocket.

Or searching for it for five minutes before realizing you’ve been talking on it the entire time lol

I believe that is called a brain fart. I have my share of them.

I have been known to go into the basement to get something.Then when I get down there,I have forgotten what I went down there for.

Ha ha. I think we all can relate to that situation. I already went into the next room or the garage and forgot what I wanted.

Good thing ,when I get up in the middle of the night to take a pee--I don't forget what I got up for.

that's really not too much to worry about....just short term memory outages, probably too much insulin in your bloodstream.

My Daughter was helping me look for my phone one morning, so she called my #.

It rang from inside the fridge....

Or walk into your neighbors unlocked house thinking it was yours (wasn’t me). The booze probably didn’t help the memory.

I was getting ready to go to the store last week... had my coat on, my hat and gloves on and started out... no car keyes. I checked the pockets on the coat I was wearing... twice. Then I checked all of the other coats on the rack. Then I looked at random place that I normally put them or other things. So I was just about to give up and started to take my coat off when I found the crazy things. They were in my left hand. I never have my leyes in m left hand... but there they were... Duh! Yep old age!!!!

Not me, but I once woke up to the sound of my wife searching all over her side of the bed, using her smartphone for a flashlight. Looking under the bed, behind the nightstand, under the books etc, under the covers... I rolled over and asked what she was doing. "Looking for my phone," she replied. Again... using her phone for a flashlight.

I'm not sure she was completely awake. I suspect she woke up thinking/dreaming she lost her phone and started searching before the wheels were all turning.
I've had my share of mental blips, but they're less funny.

A guy from work just texted me his phone number. I texted mine back.

Sometiimes my glasses or sunglasses are on my head tipped up....done that for a few years.

I shot a coyote with my Ruger single six. I laid It on the hood of the truck right up next to the windshield.Once I got the set made I went looking for the gun. Me and my buddy looked for over 20 min. It blended In with the black cowling along the edge of the windshield.
I was getting breakfast when I poured sunny D over my cheerios. LOL Actually It was pretty good.
