Enough political crap - vacations coming

I'm tired of deleted the political threads. From here on out I will be giving vacations to those who start political threads, and to those who cause non-political threads to become political.

I'm not so foolish as to go against the boss and I'm not but guys are distressed and looking to vent. They have friends here and likeminded folks. Maybe this is their only avenue to vent.

nothing good last forever....I plan to respect the bosses wishes.

It seems easy for current events to be seen as political.

Animal rights, claimant change, war on coal, gun restrictions, jobs going away. I'm not liking what's coming. Its difficult to discuss some topics without them going that direction.

I guess we just don't discuss them and enjoy our trapping untill it banned as well.


Well I did catch a 42lb beaver today and had my first fired 330 that was empty.

Political posts that are about the 2nd amendment, trapping, hunting and our service members is allowed, but it has to stay on those topics.

I give myself vacations all the time on trapperman, there is a lot to be said about self censoring. Probably will keep a lot of us off of future government watch lists.

Paul - you might get really busy handing out pink slips. Just saying........

Not complaining about your stand Paul but as I dont watch TV this was my only source for news and it seemed more accurate about what is really going when I compare notes with friends. But thank you for the leeway you had given us. If the wheels fall off I hope someone Pms me please.

There was very rarely any news on here, more just people's commentary and opinions on the news. Not exactly a neutral unbiased source.

It's sad to see it go, but it's probably for the best.

If y'all want news, go to one of the .com sites, like newsmax.com, oann.com etc. It's not the news y'all want, it's the discussion about your opinions of the news that y'all want. This leads to division and dissension, which is something we don't need on here.
