This is a fox checking it out after it was caught

Red fox. Mate came looking after it got snapped. Nice crossing log. Put a trap on it

Up to 9 reds off the log so far ,usually do 12-15 a season of the one log .also a few coyotes as well.I do have 2 sets on each end ,we will see if the other pays off as well .I can’t see that one in the pic frame .

Had a log jam recently due to floods and had to get in there with the chain saw to clear it up .Log crossings are killers ,literally.

Like crossing logs. I’ve gotten better at figuring which ones will produce. And after those floods or just natural tree deaths, I’ve learned to eliminate as many crossing logs as possible so the critters are funneled across just a few. Where my traps are. Thank you for writing back. I’m awake at 3:30am because of the dreadful situation our country is in. I was at the DC rally, right at the Capitol, and the reporting about it has been awful. I can’t sleep. So naturally something fun to take my mind off it helps.

2 reds were caught ,one on that log and one 50 yards down stream .pics to follow
