Mines going on 3 years old. Love it.

Mine has been collecting dust since I learned they use fake fur on their Northwoods Trapper hat. I emailed them about it and received a response from the president of the company that owns Stormy Kromer. I thought that was neat, but doesn't change the fact they're using an inferior product. She said they had done some experimenting with muskrat specifically which I also thought was cool. In fact, if they made a hat with muskrat, I'm sure many on here would buy one or two.

Here's part of her response.

"To be completely honest, the production processes with actual fur are quite different and our production team does not have those skills at this time to create a quality product."

A guy just moved here to Wisconsin from VA. And bought him and his newborn son stormies as welcome gifts. He was very excited.

Quality hats. I have 3 of them. A blaze orange for deer hunting, a camo for waterfowl, and a black one for everyday wear.

LOL,,When I was younger I don't care how cold out it was,,I didn't get cold.My father in law and I used to go ice fishing when it was 10 below,,and I had on was jeans and just a Carhart jacket.He thought I was NUTS.I cant do that any more.The cold gets to me now a bit.This hat is awesome.If you get one,,you wont be sorry.

I have a half dozen or so off them. A couple are the old originals before they became Stormy Kromer.
They are great hats and make a feller look really smart.

The old ones did not have regular ear flaps, you can get them know. Did you notice the American Flag and made in the U.S.A are on the inside of the hat and can not be seen from the outside.

Mine has leinenkugel monogram on it, got it when I toured the brewery in Wisconsin.

I have 14, one for every occasion and purpose. Many different styles. 1 year ago I had a small tear in the liner off my camo bow season hat. I E- mailed a pic to Stormey Kromer and 3 days later had the new hat in the mail box and got to keep the old one.

Glad to hear that .It does say Lifetime Warranty,,,but at my age EVERYTHING comes with a lifetime warranty.

Each hat has a serial number. Register it online or mail and they have a lifetime warrantee. 3 year lost or stolen warrantee, you get a 50% off coupon if lost or stolen. I like the waxed cotton for warmer weather.

If I can get my wife to post a pic for me I will.I haven't got a clue how to,,and my flip fone don't even work any more.Shes trying to make me go get a modern one,,but I realy don't miss it.I have my land line fone still,,and if I don't answer,,I figure if its important,,theyl call back.

I ordered the gray one from amazon. Sent wrong size. They said theyll send another, again a tad big-wrong size again. Amazon said keep em both-our bad and gave a refund. I wear the one when i havent just had a hair cut and i really like it. Wish the ear flaps went down another 1/2 inch or so.

Yup,,I was thinking the ear flaps don't go over the whole ears,,but it does actually cover enough of my ear that would get cold.I like it.

I like them, don’t own one yet. Will get a couple eventually.

Friend of mine wears the Wyoming Trading hat. It looks similar to a Stormy but it has fold down flaps.

I have 4 but my favorite one is the one that my Grandfather wore.

Ear flaps too short ,THey SUCK

I have been going to order one, I guess I need to get a couple, I couldn't decide on a color before.

Any advice on sizing? I was just getting ready to place an order. After reading online some people say to order a little big. I was looking at the "rancher".

You can get them with regular ear flap now, just like any other cap.

I have a few of there hat , wife and daughters do too , they make a great shirt also, real tuff they last a long time

I love mine! With the short brim, it doesn’t effect my bow draw. Unfortunately it is a bit small...I see from other posts that the sizing runs a bit small. A new hat (that is the correct size) is on my “want list!

I think ill remedy the short ear flaps by getting a Rancher model after doin some lookin last night. These Cabelas club points gotta be used for something.

Got one from a new son in law many years ago. Appreciated it but never did fit right. I think my head swells and deflates depending on how important I feel that day.

They have a model that has full ear flaps on it.Called the "Snowdrift Cap"

Mine is black/gray. It's a nice looking and warm too.

I have several. I like to "personalize" them a bit.

This one has elk ivories added to the tie strings and a little hat pin.

What does the inside of the hat look like ?

Didn't know I needed a new hat until just now. Those are sweet.

They are a good hat. Got one for my brother and I, about 2 years ago. Haven't worn mine yet this fall.

Thinking I'll get us another one, different color, for this Christmas.

They will catch your attention, if folks don't like my hat, that tells you that they're just jealous.
