Garden veggie varieties - 01/14/21 04:55 AM
This year's seeds started showing up, I haven't got room like I used to, but I really was disappointed with the junk we got from local greenhouses and grocery stores...none of the started plants were varieties I would have chosen.
This year, I'll be back at it with some proven winners
Tomatoes:
Silvery for tree (was added to my order for free)
New big dwarf
Bush beefsteak
Oxheart
Costoluto genovese
Black Krim
Black plum
Gold nugget (yellow cherry)
Sweet millions (cherry)
San marzano
Manitoba
Still need Estlers mortgage lifter (sold out already)
Canestrino di Lucca is incoming from USA
Hoping to get Brandy Boy also
Peppers
Sweetheart hybrid - best red bell pepper I've ever eaten
Hungarian hot wax
Jalapeno m hybrid
Also got some Japanese turnips
Will buy local junk seed for
Spinach
Raddichio
Leaf lettuce
Snow peas
What's everyone else's plans?
