We don’t have fresh fruit or veggies that are worth a .... Fresh King is hard to beat. The collar and bellies are to die for. So oily.

We smoke a portion of each season's catch. Smoked and canned, it's good for years. Vacuum sealed and frozen we like to eat within 6-9 months. Wild salmon is truly one of Alaska's greatest blessings!

As a teenager in CA in the 70's and up til about 2000, wild salmon was so cheap it was no big deal to eat it whenever you wanted. Now it is a luxury unless you have a boat.

Wild Atlantic salmon here is about $60 a pound when you find it. I try to catch my own.
