Posco I ever tell you about my brother spotting a rabbit sitting a good 30 yards away and saying bet you can't get him.I really didn't expect to but throw my pick.......wouldn't you know but I pinned that sucker.... grin

Wow! I feel like I am looking at a Fur-Fish-Game Magazine when looking at those Outstanding pictures. I respect pictures of Hard Working Beaver trappers.Thanks for sharing!

He shouldn’t have any trouble finding any if he wants to trap them. We are over run with them around here. They can open a lot of doors.

and gas was 30-40 cents a gallon maybe a little more....

I can not believe the work put into those fences. I'm tired just looking at those pictures. I too have fond memories of a dollar an inch.

Considering the value of a dollar back then and the price of a beaver hide, the extra work probably made it worth it.

Thanks for sharing those Pics! Bring back some memories of mine. I remember first starting beaver trapping thru ice making frames and fencing Back in day when we use to have winter with a lot of Ice here North East Ohio. A lot of work , but loved every moment of it.

Really nice! The old fashion way looks to be a young mans game. I love trapping beaver thou, and worked harder then I should of many times.
