Re: Victor foot hold for the Win ! - 01/21/2106:45 AM
This reminded me of when i bought my first house. I worked nights-woke up around noon one day layin flat on my back. Dead center of my chest was what appeared to be a mouse turd. I flicked it and went back to sleep. Day or two later i was watchin tv and a mouse ran across the living room. I went and bought a 4 pack of victors and set them all and left. I came back and 3 were snapped while 1 was gone. I found it under the couch with a leg. Must not have had enough swivels! From that day fwd for almost a month, i found turds in every room. Id hear it at night. I saw it run across rooms. I set 3 different kinds of traps with every bait i could imagine. I shot at it with a bb gun a couple times. This thing was driving me nuts-i couldnt kill it. Finally i was gone one weekend and came back. A victor in the basement connected with a 3 legged mouse and i never saw one again.

Paint stirring sticks are probably the best material for making a wood stretcher. You can make do with ice cream sticks but expect to get docked for a narrow stretch.
