Just checking on ya, haven’t seen you post much.

Went out to the trap cabin for a few days to social distance-wife wanted to snare some rabbits.
I cleaned up a bit of trail,gathered up couple weeks worth of firewood,and picked up a litlle fur.,and just kick back and relax.Going out again soon,this time I will make up some mitts and hats while out there.
I am moved to tears by all your concern for my wellbeing,lol.

Only set 3 snares on the last day-got one rabbit but it was eaten out of the snare by a lynx.

Why didn't you ambush that Lynx in a crackpot ?

Dont want to catch too much fur.(more than I can use).
Dont like giving it away cheap on the raw fur market,when it sells so high as tanned goods.
I did whack one cat out there though with a trail snare.
Frozen birch is the easiest splitting wood in the bush.
