Your doing it. Just keep checking them. Check them from a distance, if you can. They were not hungry last night, maybe tonight.

Add a set or two when you check sets it’s something new to look forward to.

Re: Coyote Blues(zero catches!) - 01/26/21 04:40 AM
If I’m seeing fresh tracks and no interest in my sets I throw in a couple new ones on the fresh sign. If no fresh sign, pull up and move. This time of year they’re getting focused on mating, so a quality gland lure and urine are your best friend. They might walk by good bait, but a territorial coyote won’t walk by a urine post in its territory without making its mark during breeding season. It flat gets em riled up when they smell competition for breeding.

New sets on fresh sign seems like a good plan. Theres not a lot of oppurtunity so when you miss out on a good wet night after its been in the teens for a while, it is a little discouraging. Nothing like being humbled.

Be patient and make sure your equipment is in good working order, sets aren't frozen down and are in good locations, rest is just have confidence and be patient.
