Give the vaccine to eighty year old before younger people. The older one has reached life expectancy so will not save as many years as giving it to much younger people.

Gotta test it on somebody.

The elderly are a lot more susceptible by a large percentage so it makes sense that they would receive the vaccine first. Health care workers too.

All you have to do to answer that for your own self, is considering someone dearly loved . In any treatment for any medical condition.

What is interesting is that during the vaccine trials conducted by both Moderna and Pfizer , older people with co-morbidities were not included. So they really dont know how it will effect that segment of the population. Some doctors are saying it has the potential to cause autoimmune issues. We dont know if thats true yet, but since I already know what that is like, Im certainly not taking it.

They are really rolling it out up here now and its surprising that so many people still think it will keep them from getting the virus. It wont. All it does is give you a 95% chance of having a mild case. Kinda crazy when you think that according to the data most have a 98% chance of having a mild case anyway.

Because chance of death from covid if you're not in a NY nursing home or younger than 70 is almost non-existent. Covid is not ebola.

This is what I think of first , with any type of health care ...our veterans , who gave so much for us all, and always will. IMO, they deserve the best of .

Because people younger than that have almost zero chance of dying from it. My son tested positive after exposure, twice tested, twice positive, and never showed a symptom. No cough, no fever, nothin.

The Russians are vaccinating the younger people first, working up through the age groups.

Apparently they feel getting the economy back, folks working is top priority.

All the folks I know in long term care/older folks want too get on with the remaining years instead of self isolation.
