It's not climate change IT"S WINTER!

Idiots on the news keep screaming the cold is from climate change. Geez look at the calendar!! The big problem is these young climateologist aren't old enough to remember the brutal cold in the 70-80's. They just remember the mild to above normal temps. OR that's all they want to remember because it supports their cause. 2 years ago they were screaming that newyork was having record low snow fall. OK this year they are saying above average, ???? DUH that's how you get an AVERAGE !!! Several measurements over several years.
I got to stop watching ANY news ! between politicians and weathermen that lie it's not worth it.......

"Climate Change" is a great moneymaking agenda... First you scare people by convincing them there's a problem so they beg you to come up with a solution. And of course the solution is to pass legislation that forces them to subsidize businesses that you're heavily invested in... Or flat out own.

It's the latest and greatest version of King George's decrees that forced the colonists to exclusively purchase East India Co. goods... Because Georgie owned a good portion of that outfit.

Been on a ten year warm up here. Most lakes don't freeze until a month after they use to. Part of a thirty year cycle of ups and downs as far as I can see looking at the record books. Like you said it takes years to look at averages. We're not experiencing the extreme cold here in NY. Gonna be above freezing daytime highs for the next week. Hope the cold that is affecting areas that aren't use to it goes away. The power grid going down is the big problem. Big companies making huge profits and not keeping up their infrastructure has crippled areas and killed people.

Speaking of the power grid in Texas. News says it's not wind mills that they only make up 12% of the electric out put. BUT when they went off line the coal and gas producers had to pick up the slack which caused some of them to fail.

We have far to many dwebs in positiions of authority.
We pray your particular area has fine upstanding, trustworthy souls in core areas of public service in case something goes "south."

In my experience positions of authority don't attract fine, upstanding, trustworthy souls... There are exceptions but generally the more authority involved, the less trustworthy.

Yea seems the world is leaning towards advancement thru incompetence. Just like the school systems are ran !!!! Screw up in the classroom or as a principle they create a job at central office and give you a big fat pay raise..
