Canvasback and the Snowstorm .. WOW!!

CANVASBACK VERSES THE BLIZZARD OF FEBRUARY 2021!!!

I should have known something was up, when even my DOG!!! did not want to go outside this Morning!!!

The Weather Girl last night, predicted 3 to 5 inches of Snow by this Morning. No big deal...


YEAH, RIGHT !!!!

i GET ALL DRESSED UP IN MY CABELA'S ZONZE WOODLANDS SNOW CAMO PARKA AND WOODLANDS SNOW CAMO INSULATED BIB OVERALLS, Winter boots, Wool Camo Balaclava , Gloves; the whole nine yards. Looked like an insulated snow camo version of the Pillsbury Dough Boy !!

I open the front door, and I am met with a snow depth , not a drift, but actual snow on the front porch of 22 inches of snow!!! I hobble on outside, and PLOP right off the front porch into 3 FEET of Snow. So, I Hobble my Crippled Butt on over to the Garden tractor and proceed, to get that uncovered and started up.

DANG IT< START!!!!!


Finally , it starts up. I get the front walkway blowed out, and proceed to start cleaning out the driveway.


That is where the fun begins !!! NOT!!


The wind kicked up snow drifts that were past the headlights on the Tractor !!! Had to raise the blower up, and make a slow initial pass down the driveway..

Did I mention I was waiting for a FEDEX delivery today ???????????


I get to near the road, and see a blue box barely peeking out of the pile of snow that the County plowed into my Driveway . Yep, Cardboard delivery box sitting, no, now buried in the snow!! Dig that sucker out and toss it on the Porch.


Back on the tractor....


Now, it is WHITEOUT CONDITIONS!!


Get to cleaning out the L section of the Driveway, and then head back into the house..

Sit down , and I as I am typing this out, the County Plow truck just finished going back and forth , back and forth .... 6 TIMES !! in front of my Driveway !!


Will have to get the plowman to clean that heavy crap out at the end of the Driveway. Not getting the blower damaged from that hard junk from the road !!


Oh, and another 8 to 12 inches forecasted by 10 PM tonight !!!

Just had to put the Dog out again, after his Afternoon nap !! Snow in the backyard is up to the middle of the Shed doors !!

OH, TRUST ME !! It's A LOT OF SNOW !!!

That Parka and Insulated Zonz Woodlands Snow Camo outfit is a CLASSIC !! Keeps me TOASTY WARM !!

The DOG IS BACK IN THE HOUSE. HE ACTUALLY GROWLED AT ME, AS HE RAN PAST ME, BACK INTO THE HOUSE!! I think the old boy is a little ticked off at me. He ran into the house, white as a Polar Bear !!

Made the news today !!!

We broke a 24 hr snowfall record for today!!!!!

38 inches of snow in 24 hours

Making me jealous. I love moving snow. 38 is about our total accumulation so far.

At least you got a package, I've got one on a sight seeing trip around the country.

At least Fedx delivered. Ups and post office shut down in texas with just a few inches of snow.
