I believe there is a problem

I believe there is a problem - 03/02/21 12:42 AM

When we start talking about forgiving student federal loans.
I believe that they knew it was a loan when they signed up for it and they would have to repay it.
They applied for it to get an education to earn a good living.
Now what ever happen to their college years an if they did or didn't get an education they still owe the money back.

Or is this when we tell them this is not your debt, don't worry about it this can be a hand out for ya.

My parents taught me if you borrow you repay it.

Don't forget to look at the forest for the trees. This is one small piece of the bigger picture of the way communism wins. The idea that is being played out, is to get as many people as you possibly can dependent on the government. It starts a little bit at a time. People are willing to accept a little bit at a time. The ultimate goal is Total Control

Yes! These kids have been brain washed into this for no gain for themselves, but for financial gain of the tools. It needs to stop. I'll go as far as to say that these kids and their parents that could not stop this are stuck. It needs to stop, our Country wasn't built by college grads.

I paid for college loans cutting firewood back in the day. Does that mean I can get some money back for never missing a payment???

Part of the appeal for the idea is the value of a college degree. Once upon a time, a degree meant you were likely to make a comfortable living and would be able to pay off the loan.

Today, the cost of college tuition doubles every 6 or 7 years and the value of a degree keeps going down.

Once there is free college for all it will truly become the 13th grade and won't have any value at all.

Hands in the cookie jar, or legalized corruption in our government. Paying off the student loans they made with our tax dollars. Over $40billion in admin fees & I assume that will go up to do this buy back. Sallie Mae's stock price has doubled since September.
Follow the money.

My daughter got student loans, paid on them for lots of years. Got sick and could not work full time. She has paid for her student loads 3 time over but because of the hi interest she can not catch up. That is the other side of the coin.

I busted my butt and cash flowed all my post high school education. I've always hated loans regardless if it's $5 or a mortgage.

Vote socialism and you won't have to pay back the student loans we let collages inflate.
All your friends are doing it...

If Diane and I had all the money we spent on college education back, the farm would be paid off. We would have every piece of heavy equipment we needed, huge savings and we could hire someone to do most of the work, except that the cursed democrats will raise the minimum wage.

If you take out a loan you're responsible for it.

What about the federal eviction moratorium? Now renters can live in your rental property without paying or fear of being evicted.

The idea of Jubilee is not a new one. Nor is the abuses of it. Once they learn the easiest steps then they can master incorporating different companies and learn to siphon funds from one to the other and lose trace in all the commotion like rabbit tracks in the snow. If someone is smart enough to line the tracks out then maybe a timely suicide of some pawns could be a solution. Not many pawns are too big to fail. We are living in a time when its actually courageous to stiff the laborer for his wages all in the name of success. If the big guys aren't immune from forgiveness then why should the little ones be. There seems to always be a search for equity and its seldom balanced !

We teach by what we do and accept. Naturally if the adults fudge on their debts expect the kids to follow suit.

I don’t think loan forgiving is a wise use of tax money. Loans are good, but forgiveness isn’t. My DIL is an MD and she used loans wisely. She is repaying and can not get a tax deduction because of her income.

Student loans can be good options but they come with obligations. Military service and the GI bill is there for motivated youth.
