Lost another legendary trapper

We lost a humble trapper today Odon Corr 87 I will always remember our visits at convention's and over the phone.You will be missed my friend,RIP.

Thanks for passing on the news. He was one heck of a man.

Rest in Peace Sir. You were a huge influence to all of us in SD. I remember seeing him at every SDTA Convention we ever had. He was such a positive influence on us all. I saw him at the Convention in Sept and he always seemed to be ageless. Will always remember his stories and his unending list of trapper stories. What a trapper.

I am going to miss visiting with him . His stories were limitless. Miss you already buddy, Tight chains!!

Here’s a Sterling 600 and a 3n of Mr.Corrs,when I got these I told Odon these would not see dirt again,he laughed and asked why I told him I wanted to have them and hang on the wall, traps from a legend.He then smiled and as humble as he is smiled and said I’m just a trapper,I was lucky enough a good friend Dead Coyotes Shannon went to his auction and bought some of his Sterlings 600’s for me,those I use on my line with pride,when I see the file mark on them I think of the history that trap has had and make my own history as well.Bison88 I’m glad you have some of his traps as well,Mr.Corrs till we meet again.

I first met Odon at the Trappers College, really showed us some "stuff". When I found out he raised Airedales, I just had to have one of them to go with ours, actually got two! Will sure miss him and his dry wit. We were set up outside at the NTA western in Idaho Odon was on one side of us and Glen Sterling on the other, I got real quiet listening to those two!

Odon and Glenn both worked for the same state adc program that I worked in, in s.d. at one time. Odon had transferred to steele north dakota and was very well respected in the s.d. program. He was quite the trapper and gentleman. Rest in peace. Called coyote with Glenn a few times working.

He liked them diamond 33 a lot. Bought 2 pints of c-50 and some crow at a convention talked a good bit with him . God Bless RIP

Tom that must of been something listening to 2 great wolfer's,red webb C-50 and Crow Creek are some great lures,about 4 years ago I bought a pint of each,Odon had sent some of his horse meat base bait quite a few years back,after smelling it I called him right away to see if he sold it by the gallon.That's some of the BEST bait I have ever used,I would get a half gallon every year.

Anyone know what the situation will be with his videos? Or more plainly can I still get one?
Was thinking about him last month, and thinking I should try to get ahold of him.

It was a very nice service today. You could tell he touched the lives of many people. He will be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.
