Inside look of active beaver lodge/den

Very neat footage of the inside of a beaver lodge/den. The two beaver kits fighting over a stick is quite funny too.

I once years ago was snaring beaver in a large pond. I had snared a beaver and was redoing the set. There was a beaver following me as I walked the pond edge checking snares. Slapping his tIl and diving, but staying maybe 20 ft. offshore.
Anyway I left the beaver I caught on the bank and continued walking around the pond. I noticed the beaver that was following me was gone. When I returned to pick up the beaver I’d caught I saw movement where I’d left the caught beaver.
I eased up close and watched a beaver (possibly the one that had been following me??), nudging with it’s nose and pushing on the dead beaver.
It also was making the sound you can hear the beaver in your video making. Over and over.
After about 5 minutes I showed myself. The beaver never moved until I was within about 5 ft. It turned slowly, entered the water and swam away submerged.
