Cool looks good. I did some sawing my self today 5x5 red oak post pine for floor joist and a mix of red/white oak for deck boards and a mix of walnut and cedar for railings/ benchs

You can build a router sled to plane large surfaces.

Uhhh I'll catch up when I have my sawmill built ..... got a pile of logs siting here waiting to be cut up. That is a nice slab though
