Certain groups are always trying to go after Augusta National. Women's groups were always doing it for years. That's why they picked Condi Rice to be the first woman.

Re: Anyone offended by golf? - 04/09/21 11:22 PM

I spent 16 years in the golf industry, high end maintenance and course construction. I will say course owners and event promoters are just as greedy and money hungry as any other sport. They will say or do anything for a buck. If being "woke" is the flavor of the day, that's what will be on the menu. Look at how Tiger is skating charges from his reckless driving, 87 in 45 crash. He is the cash cow...

His problem was night putting, not so much the actual golf.

His pill and sex addiction is probably the problem.

Golf offends me, thinking of the land wasted that could be a shooting range or good farm land.

Chasing a little white ball all over the place around on green is unthinkable! . . . unless you're a pool player of course! laugh

Remember Spiro Agnew who made golf what it is today - a contact sport, according to Bob Hope.

What world are you living in? ANGC did not allow female members until they admitted Condoleeza Rice. They didnt bar women on the property.

I'm offended that I can't play golf better than I do! If you can take the language, listen to comedian Ron White's tiger story, it's hilarious.

I think it would be fun to combine golf and sporting clays with one of the hazards being someone shooting at your golf ball as it soars through the air or rolls down the green.

Skeet shooting could make lots of sports more interesting and enjoyable.

You may be able to hit the rolling golf ball, but I doubt you could hit a ball off the tee. 100+mph.

That's what would make it fun. If it was too easy to hit the ball or a given, it would not be a sport. I would love to try to play golf that way.

We lived next to a golf coarse . Made a ton of money shagging balls and being a caddy. But we did fill some of the cups on the greens with dog crap. LOL

Don't know squat about golf but picked thousands of nightcrawlers on the private course greens in a town close where I lived growing up

One time we were teeing off and an Eagle was perched in a tree maybe 30 yds away even with the green. I thought it was going to break its neck following the ball off the tee. lol

Golf is for folks who have never fired a fully automatic weapon.
