Well I'm pretty sure this is #900 for the spring. Have a few more sets to pull. 1st 800 were easy last 100 came slow as some spots from last year had dried up. Had a lot of fun, but put a lot of miles on the Truck. Very fearful that the Dakotas are headed for a dry summer so you have to catch em while they are here. It was great trapping them after an 8 year absence due to our last drought. [Linked Image]

That is a good haul. Still trapping up here in NE corner of the state. Stepped outside and snow is sticking to the ground. Plan on trapping thru the weekend and start on beaver on Thursday. Got a few hundred more than you but have way more rats up here.

Foxlake, is it drying out a little bit up there too? Spent a year in Waubay a long time ago. Loved it there!

Pulled 25 floats today. Got 92 rats so not a bad day and set up 1 beaver colony. Rat count will drop now to 60 to 70 a day. Going set up another beaver job tomorrow.

Sounds like you will be busy till the end of April! Those kind of days really rack em up fast. Enjoy it while we have them. Hopefully it won't get too dry this summer.
