There is no 'news' LL, just propaganda and it works on the masses.....

I wish I could go to a site or show and actually get news without opinion/propaganda.

More than twice as many born as die.
On track for 10 billion people on the earth by 2056.
I'll be 100 years old by then, and the world will be a stinking putrefying mass of humanity.

Re: 150,000 people - 04/17/21 05:43 AM

Why should we allow that of which to occur? There are options,..that of which,we as a society need to agree on. There are finite resources we witnessed on this planet. What decisions should we find ourselves recognizing those resources. Can we actually assume population dynamics will
correct itself,..not so,..there is an administration in power that has chosen and displayed previously that they could care less what we plead!
It's meaningless,..it's goals,..their goals,..are obvious,..prepare yourself!

I don't need to hear about the 150,000 dead people either. Can't change it and someday I'll be in that statistic. It is what it is.

I don't care about England or the monarchy. I have minimal interest in Prince Philip or his passing--other than being respectful as a human being for another human being who led what seems to be a good life.

What is however interesting is the contrast between the U.S. and England today.

England: Joined together mourning a man who served his country. I know England is far from perfect but this is impressive and good.

U.S.: Rioting, destroying ourselves at all levels of government, woke authoritarianism and radicalism, chronic disagreement on every issue--big and small, and arguably on the brink of a class/race/civil war.

Bravo to the America I don't even recognize.

USA! USA!

No contrast, really. Same thing happens here whenever a former President croaks. The country comes together and says nice things about the deceased, even if they don't mean it. Then things go back to normal.

Let's wait and see if you're right when Biden, Trump or Obama go down.

You only hear about it if you open your ears to it. I for one pay no attention and only hear what I want to hear. Just ask my wife.
