From what I found in research is titanium is best, steel next, aluminum is the worse

I have one, love it. I can't compare to other brands as I haven't been around others.

One thing I will say is silencercentral has the whole process down pat, from purchase to trusts. If you order one today you might get it in February, don't delay.

I have one, and two more coming any time now.

I can't say enough good about them, and it only adds 9 ounces to the gun (titanium) and the people are great to deal with.

Do you guys get the barrels threaded at local shops or send them off.

They do make the paperwork and trust very easy. If it is going on an AR and you shoot alot then I would recommend an OSS Helix. Otheriwse you will end up with a face full of gas each time you pull the trigger.. Banish is probably the lightest and one of the quietest on the market and if it is gonna be on a bolt gun it will be fine. Now with that being said, you can expect silencer central to delay your already long wait time by about a month. After you purchase and send them all your information and fingerprints its gonna be at least 30 days for them submit your application to the BATFE. They do awesome with barrel threading. Turn around is 10 days to 2 weeks.

Depends on your application. Titanium is light and strong but dose not handle the heat from high rates of fire like stainless can. They will start sparking when they get to hot I hear. Even those with full auto ratings. I can't confirm because I don't shoot at a high rate of fire.

Also some use other materials like brass for the blast baffle for longevity.

All of mine are titanium and meet my needs.

NFATALK.ORG has a lot of silencer info and free metering results available.

They’re a good can (made by Mack Bros. I believe).

And they have the red tape down pat.

I actually have an older (heavier) 30 cal can that if it wasn’t such a pain the butt to do, I’d sell to get a Banish 30. I have a banish 22 cal and really like it.

I ordered mine in 2020, it took 10 months.

My buddy ordered one from SilencerCentral last year, I'd wager he's on about month 16 now.

If my recollection is right, it took about 3 more weeks for mine to come home after approval.

Anyone want to meter their set up with 3 calibrated sound meters. One mill speck one meter left one at left ear and one Mike at your right ear can come to my farm on August 20th.

One shot fired unsupressed for base line and 10 suppressed to get a good average. All data gets compiled on a spread sheet at NFA talk.

Guys bring their personal gear it's nice to hear and get exposure to different models and platforms. Of course the metering gets boring and gets broken up with trigger time and let me tell you these guys have the gear.
